Overview

The Faculty DVD Collection (and Popular Film Collection) are located in the Reserve Room on the 2nd Floor of the Pryor Learning Commons. DVDs in the Collection are typically used in support of classes on campus, and may be placed on Course Reserve at faculty request. There is also a Blu-ray player that may be checked out from the room as well.

PLC DVD Collections

Curry Library has two primary physical film media collections in DVD format:

  • The Popular Film Collection
    • Titles acquired through joint Library and Student Life funding. 
  • The Faculty DVD Collection
    • Titles acquired through Library funding at the request of faculty in support of WJC courses and curricula. 

Despite the title of the latter collection, both collections are available to use by all WJC students, staff, and faculty. The Collections are located in the Reserve Room (PLC 212). Currently, the Reserve Room does not have open browsing hours. Titles may be requested via the Curry Library Catalog and will be available for pickup 

To search the collection, go to the Curry Library Catalog's Advanced Search link below, set Other Format to "VIDEO/FILM" and enter your search.
